Design QA — Fluent Color Essentials

The selected Proposal 1 board was compared side by side with a fresh render of the shipped SVG assets, including their true 16 px toolbar scale.

Result

Passed. No P0, P1, P2, or P3 visual issues remain in the core-owned menu, toolbar, and shared-glyph set.

Checks

  • The familiar action metaphors, semantic colors, rounded corners, and restrained detail match the approved direction.
  • All icons remain full color and use a 16 x 16 master grid; scaling preserves the expected toolbar resolution.
  • Menu check/radio marks and shared expand/collapse chevrons use the same visual language.
  • Core system-location actions no longer depend on legacy shell32.dll artwork.
  • The four main application .ico resources remain hash-identical to the pre-change files.

Third-party plug-in artwork remains provider-owned and is intentionally outside this core-interface restyle.
