I managed to get sleap to open, but I do not get the training runing. I got the following error:torch.AcceleratorError: CUDA error: no kernel image is available for execution on the device How can I solve it? Hi @SNicolaJ , This seems like an known issue (see #2628 ) since Pascal generation GPU (the P2200 that you have) support has been dropped on PyTorch. Downgrading to PyTorch 2.8 with CUDA 12.6 should work ( Alternatively, try exporting to ONNX and run inference on CPU, although that would probably be slower since GPU inference is faster. See #2628 for instructions on that. Hope this helps! |
Hi @SNicolaJ ,

Downgrading to PyTorch 2.8 with CUDA 12.6 should work (
uv pip install torch==2.8.0 --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu126) but that might cause dependency issues with other sleap-nn dependencies.Alternatively, try exporting to ONNX and run inference on CPU, although that would probably be slower since GPU inference is faster. See #2628 for instructions on that.
Hope this helps!
