Sstrobe light doesn't start when enabled

I have a LG G2 and the app does not work as installed on my phone. The app installs fine, when i launch the app, i see only one screen, 2 scroll bar, one for time on and off and the enable/disable button. After adjusting the time on & off, i pressed the enable button, it shows enable but nothing happen. Can you help?

Is there a setting that need to be changed on my phone?

Same on S4. Please, please, fix your App as it is the most elegant FOSS solution - still in december 2016!
