Moving to discussion! Thanks for bringing this up. I saw the tweet actually when it was posted, but I'm unaware of the actual performance benefits. Otherwise the migration isn't very compelling.
Would love to see see more info if you have it!

Although the migration could be done peice-wise which would de-risk it... has it's own negatives of course.
