π Feature Spotlight: CADP & Dual-Speed Consolidation β Eliminating AI Memory Drift
We are excited to spotlight CADP (Contradiction-Aware Directional Resolution) and Spector's dual-speed consolidation engine.
πͺοΈ The Problem: The AI Knowledge Drift Paradox
As autonomous agents interact over months, users update their preferences, change architectural constraints, and issue corrections. In standard vector databases, old facts and updated facts co-exist in vector space with nearly identical cosine similarity scores, causing the agent to vacillate randomly between outdated constraints and current requirements.
π¬ How Spector Solves Memory Drift
Spector introduces a three-layer resolution architecture that actively resolves contradictions:
1. The Consolidation Triad
2. Dual-Speed Consolidation Architecture
3. Temporal Retraction via
CONTRADICTSHyperedgesWhen an update is recognized, Spector establishes a directed
CONTRADICTShyperedge pointing from the new observation to the deprecated engram. During recall, the deprecated trace is automatically suppressed from the primary answer set while preserving auditable lineage for historical accountability.π οΈ MCP Tools
memory_resolve: Explicitly resolve conflicting memory claims through user feedback.memory_suppress: Temporarily inhibit invalidated assumptions without destroying provenance.Read more in our deep dive on the Spectrayan Blog!
