MullvadVPN Compatibility Issue (Connection denied)

In portmaster network noise i've got a blocked incoming peer to peer connection from 31173 Services AB, the connection happens because i'm using mullvadvpn.
I went to network noise settings and createn an incoming-rule for said connection which is AS39351.
The result is the connection is still being blocked by portmaster.
I've contacted mullvadvpn support and they told me they cannot guarantee that their vpn service is securely working as intended when any connections are blocked by my firewall.

Hopefully safing can elaborate why the connection is still blocked even after manually allowing it, and how to get this working?

Can confirm same problem here but its not new, this been here since day one and safing doesnt care so dont bother

We not only care, but our main project is improving VPN compatibility with Portmaster at the moment. What we can promise is we will take a look at the reports and do some testing. If anyone visiting this thread has reports on issues like this with Mullvad (or other VPN providers), please post details.

As for details, the connection you can see being blocked on the screenshot above comes from network noise.
Its impossible for me to know the significance/importance of this connection but when i contacted mullvadvpn-support they made it very clear if any connection to any of their servers is denied they cannot guarnatee if there is any security or privacy at all.
Manually allowing the connection is not an option because networknoise is designed so when clicking the three dots "allow ip" is greyed out. I manually created a network rule for networknoise, being AS39351 and set it to allow.
Networknoise ignores this rule and blocks the connections anyways.
