Hi — just wanted to say hello and show what we're doing with your microscope.
We're building ARGUS-LP, an autonomous 24/7 cell lineage tracking platform on top of OpenFlexure v6.1.5. The scope watches cells for weeks in a climate-controlled box (37°C, CO₂, HEPA-filtered), segments with CellPose, tracks lineages with a Bayesian tracker, and uses a 405 nm laser from below for targeted cell ablation.
We picked OpenFlexure because the upright geometry makes water immersion straightforward — the 60× objective points down, gravity holds the water. The laser comes up through the glass-bottom dish.
Everything is open: GPLv3 for code, CC-BY-SA for hardware mods. We've forked the microscope repo into our org as the hardware base.
