Describe the bug
If “Round quotes & commas” is enabled, enabling “Monospaced numbers” reverts commas and semi-colons back to straight.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open TextEdit (or any word app that supports Typography options).
- Change font to Inter (or any Inter family, v4.1)
- Go to Fonts -> Typography -> enable “Round quotes & commas”
- Expected behavior is observed: quotes, apostrophes, commas, semicolons are round
- Go to Fonts -> Typography -> enable “Monospaced numbers”
- Unexpected is observed: quotes and apostrophes are round; commas and semicolons are straight
Expected behavior
Commas and semicolons should stay round, even when monospaced numbers are also enabled.
Environment
- OS: macOS 15.7.4
- App that renders the font: TextEdit, Scrivener, Pages
- Version of font: Inter Variable. Version 4.001;git-9221beed3
