Version 0.4.0 roadmap?

Hi,

Are there any plans for a v0.4.0?

I have an application that I'm working on which will start to depend on libmacaroons. I've noticed a few API breaks between current master and the latest tag -- will these be present in future released versions?

Additionally, I plan to package libmacaroons for Fedora/EPEL. Any upstream objections to that?

I don't have any plans to release v0.4.0 in the immediate future. That largely stems from partly the fact that my day job doesn't involve anything near macaroons and partly from the fact that I had no easy road map for introducing the changes well. IIRC, the changes are setup such that macaroons written with the latest tag will parse with the new library, but the new library will not generate the old format.

I will be properly updating the version info for the library for any API change.

Damn, you've made me want to pick this up again. If I do, I'll update so you have a heads up and maybe we can coordinate to make sure it doesn't cause you pain.
