Trakt API Change - Watched status not syncing

It appears that the Trakt API was updated last week, which has broken the Watch Status sync. The other bits work ok, just not marking things that you have marked as watched on Trakt as watched on Kodi.

@yitzhaq Thank you for looking into this and submitting a merge! I was trying to test this and must be missing something. I tried updating both script.module.trakt and script.trakt from your git repos and branches (from the merges). Movies just fail and series parse and then seem to fail. Which is odly the same behavior if I didn't update the script.module.trakt. I double checked the code changes in the merge were in the code in my ~/.kodi/addons

Any insights or help would be much appreciated!

Edit to add, when I revert back the 2 repositories the movies sync, and shows has the same behavior as before. Updates to trakt but doesn't update from trakt in Kodi.
