in/acc is a movement built on the belief that India's progress must be inclusive, sustainable, and open. We extend that same principle to how we work together. Everyone who participates in this community -- regardless of background, identity, or experience level -- deserves a respectful and productive environment.
- Engage constructively -- Offer thoughtful critique, propose alternatives, build on others' ideas
- Be inclusive -- Welcome diverse perspectives, communicate across disciplines
- Be honest -- Cite sources, acknowledge uncertainty, correct your mistakes
- Be patient -- Not everyone shares your context; explain rather than dismiss
- Respect boundaries -- Accept when someone disagrees or disengages
- Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory language
- Harassment of any kind, public or private
- Publishing others' private information without consent
- Sustained disruption of discussions or projects
- Trolling, bad-faith arguments, or deliberate provocation
- Discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, ethnicity, disability, or any other identity
This Code of Conduct applies to all in/acc spaces: this repository, issues, pull requests, community channels, and any events or forums organized under the in/acc banner.
Community maintainers are responsible for upholding these standards. If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:
- Report it -- Contact the maintainers via a private message or by opening a confidential issue
- Action will be taken -- Maintainers will review, and may warn, temporarily ban, or permanently remove participants who violate this code
- Appeals are welcome -- If you believe an enforcement action was unjust, you may appeal to the maintainers
All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.
This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant, version 2.1.
