How to refresh Electric values to current SOC ?

Hi guys,

I own a Toyota Bz4X. When using the MyToyota app, I need to swipe down on the electric page to get the actual state of charge. Obviously my car doesn't push the actual values very often.

My question:
Does anybody know how to force the API to get the refreshed values? (to make a request to the car)
I cannot find a "refresh" flag in the electric endpoint request.

Yup, it probably needs a bit of trial and error from a few Bz4X owners who can try it out and develop it.

For electric just POST to /v1/global/remote/electric/realtime-status endpoint to refresh.

/v1/global/remote/electric/realtime-status worked for me, POST to the endpoint will let await car.update()to return the current SOC

I have submittet a PR #77 that adds a api endpoint that calls /v1/global/remote/electric/realtime-status

I assume I need to send realtime-status first, then wait some time because the toyota server contacts the car.
Do you now how long I need to wait at minimum?
(From my experience the app takes about a minute or two)

Yes, you need request update then wait, but unshure for how long.

Waiting 2 minutes did the job.
I will go with it. I think it's not worth to optimize this since it needs a "time buffer" anyway, for stability.
