Will "BrowserOS" be released on Android and iOS??? #245

Honest answer: no, and it's not on the roadmap. BrowserOS is a desktop Chromium fork — the whole thing is built on running a full, modified browser engine with an agent inside it, and that doesn't port cleanly to mobile. iOS is the hard blocker: Apple requires every browser to use its WebKit engine, so a Chromium-based agentic browser like ours basically can't exist there. Android is more open in theory, but a mobile build is a big lift we're not taking on right now. So for the foreseeable future BrowserOS is desktop-only (macOS, plus Windows/Linux x64). Sorry that's not the answer you were hoping for — closing this, but the interest is noted. |
