There's a pull request, as mentioned in issue #252 and a PR #260. However, PR #260 has issue of';'. I fixed this by splitting up the lines. I don't know kotlin, but just a simple change is allowing it work. This compiles fine on Android, put this in your pubspec.yaml (of course after you've reviewed the code). Hopefully PR 262 gets accepted, or a modified #260.
