macOS Notification bug

if during the first run you don't click allow notifications, it won't allow you to add it in the settings. the only way around that, is forcing a call towards macOS and hopefully, it will ask again if you want to allow notifications.

Do you mean, you dismissed the permission prompt or chose "Don't allow"?

Anyway, we should, probably, add the permission check to the settings an a button to open the settings:
