I registered a free domain here and I want to use it as the custom domain for a GitHub Pages site. What are the exact steps? Which DNS records do I need to add (A records for the root, CNAME for www?), and is there anything to set on the GitHub side besides the custom domain field? Also, how long does it usually take before the site loads on the new domain with HTTPS working? |
