Bug Description

The version of AZCopy that shipped with 1.44.0 is the version that came out on March 18 2026. There's a version from May 18th (45 days ago!) that's 2 releases newer.

Steps to Reproduce

1. make sure you're running the current version of AZCopy since the older ones have CVEs
2. in a prompt: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer\resources\app\node_modules@azure-tools\azcopy-win64\dist\bin\azcopy_windows_amd64.exe" -v
3. In my case, because we've patched it, we see 10.32.4
4. install 10.44.0 latest version of ASE
5. run step 2
6. see that it's 10.32.2 now. We have to update AzCopy manually when there's a security bug in either app because the AzCopy team and Azure Storage Explorer team can never seem to be in sync. Luckily for us we can do that, but it's not good that you're putting on a 3.5 month old version of an app.
