Hi again,
We solved our previous issue and compiled on Fedora 25 but Trustbase doesn't seem to do anything. I have a MITM proxy setup on a Kali virtual machine on the same LAN. All traffic routes through the proxy.
Firefox, Python, curl and wget traffic is all caught by the proxy. Over HTTPS these apps all report certificate issues and stop but I am able to suppress the errors at the application level. I thought the goal of trustbase was to move this power to the kernel? Their behaviour doesn't seem to change with Trustbase and rmmod trusbase says no module is running.
What do you recommend I do to start trustbase? The instructions are very unclear.
