[BUG] Login doesn't work any more - Passkey issue?

Describe the bug
Since February my icloud-drive container cannot login any more and sync files. I don't get requests on my mobile, when reauthenticating and it stops at enter 6-digit code. I assume it's related to changes in the login procedure as when I login with the browser on icloud.com I need select passkey and scan a QR code with my mobile.

To Reproduce
Login on icloud.com, no request to confirm login on trusted devices pops up and therefore no 6 digit key provided.

I also have this exact issue setting up a new iCloud container or using an alternative iCloud-pd container same behavior. Completely broken for some time. I'm using this is an iCloud.py issue?

I have the same issue. MFA is broken. After logging in the code will not appear on my apple devices.

For me it would be sufficient if the QR code would be displayed on the console when authenticating or sent via email/notification. Anyway I don't store my password in the keyring.

If on iOS 26.4, from one of the other iCloud sync docker images (all have an active/current) MFA issue, someone commented that if you put your iPhone in airplane mode you can get a code at Settings > Apple Account > Sign-In & Security. You'll get a pop-up Account Details Unavailable with a Get Verification Code button. I successfully used that code just now to log in.

That does not fix this issue, but for now, you can use this as a workaround.

@rowdynl Thanks that seems to work. Although I only got the popup on one of my devices, when Personal Data, Payments and Abonnements became disabled.
