Thank you for being interested in contributing to this website! Please see the headings below for types of contributions and follow the instructions under the heading(s) that is (are) most relevant to your needs.
If you have content you would like added to the website--or would like to see current content edited--please create a GitHub issue on this website's repository. Click here and then click the "New issue" button in the top right corner of your screen. Please provide enough detail for your comment to be specific and actionable by the team maintaining this site.
If you have access and interest in editing this website directly yourself, such edits can be made either directly through GitHub or via a local clone. Currently all members of the network-office and info-managers teams have the ability to make edits and triage issues in this repository. If you want access, please contact either Marty Downs or Nick Lyon to discuss that.
If making major edits--either to particular documents or to the structure of the website--please create a branch for those edits and submit a pull request (PR) when you are ready to have those changes be reflected in the live website. Add either Nick Lyon or Marty Downs as reviewers of your PR.
Please document all substantive edits in the NEWS.md file in the top level of this repository. High-level summaries of changes there will make the strategic summary of changes easier to track through time and will allow for more informative GitHub releases details.
