Automatic Lockout After Failed Attempts with Master Pass Unavailable

I set the extension to automatically lock after two weeks; however, if I do not use the extension until later, I cannot directly unlock it using the master password. An error message appears when I enter the master password, and I have to enter OTP first and then enter the master password to unlock it.
Is there a way to improve this?
