lets say I want to use AWS i4i or similar instance with just attached NVMe storage. as you know the data there will survive a reboot but not a shutdown/restart or node getting migrated for one reason or another

i just like to confirm in case of using ephemeral storage, the only way to move instances planned or unplanned is to bring up a new replica by streaming the state over from an existing node. ie if A,B,C are nodes and A is gone bring up D by streaming state from B or C
