Zed has this collaboration feature built directly in to the editor.
It's one of Zed's flagship features.
I've used it with friends and it is awesome!
Zed supports real-time multiplayer editing. Multiple people can work in the same project simultaneously, seeing each other's cursors and edits as they happen.
I think that this should be in scope for Lem, should work even from the terminal build of Lem, and should not use GitHub's OAuth as the only login method.
