Random things I noticed in the first minutes of trying it

• File should close with Cmd + w
• Terminal should close when it's exited IMO (press ^D -> keeps as "exited")
• Would love single-click file open like in VS Code (it opens the file in "preview", i.e. non-permanent, double click opens the file and keeps tab around)
• Diff view should ensure that both panes are always visible. Right now I have a file on the left side that is very wide and I don't see the right pane on the window.
• When resizing diff panels the cursor does not follow the separator but moves in different speed. I think the separator should always be exactly below the cursor.
• File tree in diff view should be more compact IMO (both x and y dimensions)
• Actions menu is not clickable

Good feedback ty, agree with a lot of these and will inspect a few more closely @jonashaag

To Release:

• Diff view: ensure both panes always visible (wide left file currently hides right pane off-window)
• Diff resize: separator should track cursor exactly (currently moves at different speed)
• File tree in diff view more compact (both x and y)
• Actions menu not clickable
• Related: line nums on left diff view should be on the right so we can see them side by side

This should be optional behaviour, I wouldn't want it
Edit: nevermind I actually really like the UX, Intellij missed a trick

More feedback:

• When I close a terminal using ^D it should focus the next available terminal (right now it requires a mouse click to focus)
• I want to close the terminal tab using CMD+w at least if nothing is running (in iTerm2 I think it just unconditionally closes)
• When I have the terminal full screen and press the folder icon in the left sidebar I want to navigate to the folders view. Right now nothing happens
• When I use ^` to switch between terminal and folders I think focus is lost because I can not go back to the terminal using that shortcut, only after mouse click.
• I just pressed backspace in the terminal and I got this message:

At this point I will stop trying out this tool because I'm afraid to lose my files.

Hey there, yep I'm aware of a few of these including the backspace one, fixed in main but release not out yet. Sorry about that!
