When we created SIGs/WGs/Subprojects and created these new leadership roles, I believe we left it to the Groups themselves to decide on how to nominate Chairs etc. At that time the SIGs were also in different states of organisation; we were also creating new roles that needed filling.
Now that we have had these roles for a while, I think we might benefit from a consistent procedure for nominating/filling leadership roles, and also how we manage this when creating new Groups.
