Can't get weather API to work

Hi,
I'm trying to set up Smart Irrigation. However, I'm stuck at getting the weather API to work. First I tried KNMI (since I live in The Netherlands). I followed the instructions to create an account and get an API key, but I kept seeing these errors in the HA logs:

2025-07-19 17:01:19.679 ERROR (SyncWorker_3) [custom_components.smart_irrigation.weathermodules.KNMIClient] KNMI API returned error status code: 403 - {
    "error": "Access to this API has been disallowed"
}

When I tried to change the weather provider to Pirate Weather, I kept seeing the errors from KNMIClient. So I de-installed Smart Irrigation and installed it again, and then set up Pirate Weather from the beginning. I didn't see any errors in the logs anymore. But I also didn't see any weather data in Smart Irrigation. What would be the next steps to try to resolve this issue?
