[Bug]: Clicking on Services dropdown's icon opens and closes it immediately

What happened?

On the Search page the dropdowns for services and operations are comboboxes with search capability. They are behaving inconsistently.

Steps to reproduce

If I click on the main body of the dropdown then it opens and works as expected. But if I click on the down-arrow icon on the right, the dropdown opens and them immediately collapses.

Expected behavior

Clicking on the arrow icon should open the dropdown and keep it open.

Additional context

There is another oddity - when the Service dropdown opens and I click on one of the entries, it doesn't close the dropdown. In contrast the Operations dropdown seems to work correctly in that case (but still has the above issue with icon).

I was able to reproduce the main issue that is: If I click on the main body of the dropdown then it opens and works as expected. But if I click on the down-arrow icon on the right, the dropdown opens and then immediately collapses.

I couldn't reproduce dropdown not closing when I choose a service though.
