Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

DRAFT — PENDING LEGAL REVIEW. Not legal advice; Keyper Labs must obtain attorney review before publishing to main and before any contributor signs. Complete [Keyper Labs legal entity name], [jurisdiction], [contact email]. Terse scaffold — expand each section to full Apache-ICLA/CCLA language under counsel.

evenfire — Combined Individual and Entity CLA (maintainer: Keyper Labs)

By contributing to evenfire (the "Project") and accepting via the CLA-assistant bot on a PR (recorded in signatures/cla.json) or signing below, You agree for Your past, present, and future Contributions. Individuals accept for themselves; an entity's authorized rep accepts for the entity + its designated contributors.

  1. Definitions: "You"=accepting individual/entity (incl. common control); "Contribution"=original work intentionally submitted to Keyper Labs for the Project (excl. anything marked "Not a Contribution"); "Work"=Project materials.
  2. Copyright License: perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable; You allow relicensing under ANY terms incl. proprietary/commercial and inclusion in commercial/hosted/managed/enterprise editions, no accounting/attribution/compensation owed; You retain ownership (license, not assignment).
  3. Patent License: Apache-style necessarily-infringed grant with defensive termination.
  4. Right to Grant: individual (employer waiver where needed) + entity (authorized signer, accurate contributor schedule) representations.
  5. Original Work: Your original creation; disclose third-party restrictions; submit non-original work separately and marked.
  6. AS IS: no conflicting obligations; no support; no warranties (TITLE/NON-INFRINGEMENT/MERCHANTABILITY/FITNESS).
  7. DCO: You certify the Developer Certificate of Origin 1.1 (https://developercertificate.org/); a Signed-off-by line counts.
  8. Scope & Term: covers Contributions submitted before and after acceptance; grants irrevocable and survive withdrawal.
  9. Miscellaneous: assignment to successors; entire agreement on IP licensing; severability; [jurisdiction] law; no waiver.
  10. How to Accept: via the CLA-assistant bot, or manually via the Individual/Entity signature block (the Entity block includes a designated-contributors schedule) to Keyper Labs at [contact email].

evenfire is a trademark of Keyper Labs; no trademark rights are granted beyond customary use describing the origin of the Work.
