Docker container does not start

I am unable to start a docker image of zeus, since the container fails with

Error: Could not find data item zeus::dbname in any Hiera data file and no default supplied at /srv/deploy/zeus.pp:12 on node d9e4eb244d07.atum.local

in spite of zeus::dbname being defined in zeus.pp.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

delete the docker container and image and rebuild from 0, not very likely to make it work though.
