DotNetPerfMonitor Code of Conduct

DotNetPerfMonitor is an open-source project that aims to provide performance monitoring capabilities for .NET components. We strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive community for all contributors, regardless of their background or experience level. To ensure a positive and respectful environment, we have established this Code of Conduct that applies to all project participants, including maintainers, contributors, and users. By participating in this project, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

Our Pledge

In the DotNetPerfMonitor community, we are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic. We pledge to foster an inclusive and supportive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.

Expected Behavior

To contribute to the DotNetPerfMonitor project, we expect all participants to:

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the DotNetPerfMonitor community:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive conduct based on protected characteristics.
  • Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory comments towards individuals or groups.
  • Trolling, flaming, or any other disruptive behavior that hinders productive discussions.
  • Intimidation, threats, or any form of unwelcome or inappropriate advances.
  • Publishing or sharing others' private information without consent.
  • Engaging in any behavior that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers. All reports will be treated confidentially, and the maintainers will review and investigate the reported incidents. In cases where a violation is confirmed, appropriate and fair actions will be taken, which may include warnings, temporary or permanent bans from project-related activities, or other actions deemed necessary.
