Very interesting project !
I might not understand the underlying constraints but I manage to have AHK_Generic-Midi-Program working fine with my midi keyboard on the usb port BUT in a non-shared mode (e.g. : at the exclusion of my music app EarMaster)
Conversely, when EarMaster "listens" on the usb midi port, AHK_Generic-Midi-Program midi monitor doesn't catch midi strokes anymore.
My use case is simple : I want to use EarMaster app with midi keyboard but also capture SOME notes to allow additional controls.
That's pretty much what I'm doing with a regular (Qwerty) keyboard within regular apps (e.g. Word), being able to dispatch events into whatever apps I want ; isn't it possible with AHK_Generic-Midi-Program ?
