To ensure uplift remains focused on providing the best possible release experience for CI. The ability to detect the SCM provider associated with the repository uplift is running within has been added. Initial support is for GitHub, GitLab and Gitea and focuses primarily on enriching the usability of changelog generation. Hopefully this feature will evolve to unlock bespoke functionality within CI providers.
