When I use only one screen, the flameshot works well. However, after add another screen

it seems the screenshot area of flameshot or the display area of the edited picture is wrong, it cannot cover the full screen, but moves down a little, causing an area below the screen to be unable to be selected in the screenshot area

Maybe I have the same or related issue?

I have a laptop screen and one external monitor screen.

If both are enabled and extended (not mirrored), I get these glitches when trying to capture a screenshot on Windows 11 and the latest version of Flameshot.

I have a similar problem. When I'm using flameshot in multiple monitor the black screen is not using the full monitor :(

The issue occurs when using monitors with different resolutions. In this situation, the Flameshot screenshot selection area does not scale correctly and ends up breaking.

As a temporary workaround, I changed the display scaling to 75% in order to match the height of both screens. After doing this, Flameshot worked correctly again.

I hope this issue can be fixed in a future update.

I encountered the same issue on windows 11
It went away when I set the scaling to 100% on both screens; previously it was 125% on one and 100% on the other.

However, this isn’t ideal, as I need different scaling settings on each screen for comfort.

I have not updated system quite a while, looks like this bug reproduces for me even on 13.2.0-1. Latest "stable" version 13.1.0-1.

I can confirm I have this issue on Windows 11 (latest stable release) but I have had it for months. When I am using 2, 3, or 4 monitors in an Extended desktop mode with different resolutions from the primary screen (4K primary, 1080p 2,3,4) - the entire Flameshot UI is unusuable. It inherently makes Flameshot unusuable.

I have the same problem with 2 monitors on version 13.3.0 and 13.2.0.
Everything is fine on version 13.1.0

I have the same problem, even when using v13.1. v12.1.0 works perfectly.

I also have this exact same problem. Version 13.2.0 and onwards are broken for me, but version 13.1.0 works perfectly fine.

I can confirm that this happens for me as well on Windows 11 when using three monitors with different scaling settings for versions 13.3.0 & 13.2.0, however 13.1.0 and 13.0.0 are also broken for me as it is doing the exact same thing.

After reverting back to 13.0.1 or 13.0.0, it works as expected when I select Flameshot on my primary monitor (the one that uses the 150% scaling), but when I open Flameshot using a different monitor the scaling issue appears again.

I have to revert back to version 12.1.0 in order for it to work properly across all monitors.
