  • Péter's question about the improved error message for undefined variables. Seems like a no downside change. A search of MS code doesn't show anything that wouold break with this change.
  • Aaron had asked how to list all available kdb-x modules (and how submodules should be treated). This would eb a feature request as it's currently not available. An example of a submodule would be clib in kurl.
  • general talk about the os module,. On the MS side this boils down to what MS would like ported or improved or added to an existing MS clib library. execve being mentioned and being able to interact with ulimit from within the process without system commands.
  • kdb-x trial is ongoing in MS. mskdb seeking teams for specific targeted usecases.
  • Aaron had a bug to report in the parquet module where it segfaults reading parquet files.
  • Aaron questioned if the printf module can handle POSIX extensions (numbers with commas) Samuel addressed this saying the initial release targeted ANSI C99 and further formats can be requested.
