Hey! 👋 It's not the answer you're looking for, but I can't see myself adding support for subscriptions anytime soon. Subscriptions are too different from the "traditional" e-commerce model, which is what Cargo is optimised for. Subscriptions would probably be best served by a dedicated addon, or a wrapper around Laravel's Cashier package. Sorry! |

Add Subscription as a first-class product type alongside Physical and Digital products. Currently, products can only be categorized as physical or digital, which makes it difficult to accurately and cleanly model recurring offerings such as memberships, service plans, SaaS access, and monthly or annual packages. Many modern stores rely on recurring services rather than one-time purchases, examples include internet, hosting or support packages, and content or software subscriptions. Treating these subscriptions as physical or digital products introduces unnecessary workarounds in pricing logic, results in confusing checkout behavior, and provides no clear or structured way to manage recurring billing, renewal cycles, or subscription status.
