• Reflect on how a blockchain implementation could be done
• If time allows check how to implement smart contracts would it be simple to create a smart contract for every project added to the marketplace automatically like suggested in the white-paper ?
• Is it more interesting in this case to deploy a fresh independent blockchain or use an existing blockchain and depoy smart contracts on top like the ethereum blockchain and so many subcoins ?

One additional interesting finality could be running maian-tool from MIT to check if there might be any flaws before deploying a contract

As a side note, isn't git already akin to a decentralized "blockchain" mechanism ? If we leverage the decentralized nature of git wouldn't it make the whole blockchain implementation simpler ?
Including smart contracts which are essentially simply cryptographically hashed program snippets. If we we look at blockchain in such a general manner technically the smart contracts could be written in any language which would be a huge advantage for community.

The only lacking point would be a form of consensus that could be implemented in the market
Other more involved functionalities of blockchains would merit reflection as to whether they are realy necessary or not.

Also check how secure a mechanism like that would be.
