Make it possible to select and copy multiple nested entries from Matrix fields using the "Cards" view mode

Authors love the cards view mode, and authors love the ability to copy nested entries.

Unfortunately, since the little checkbox available in Matrix fields using the inline editable blocks view mode isn't a thing in cards mode, it's not currently possible to copy multiple nested entries from Matrix fields when using this mode.

I'm aware there is a "Copy all entries" field action, but (especially for sites upgraded to 5) authors really miss the ability to select and copy multiple (but not necessarily all) nested entries in Matrix fields using cards, so it'd be awesome if that could somehow be made possible.

Updated the “Expand/collapse” and “Copy” field-level actions to only expand/collpase/copy the selected blocks, if at least one block is selected, for Craft 5.9. (7a1c742)

Yep! FWIW I think the change in 7a1c742 is a very good idea – but, copying selected entries is/was technically already possible in the Inline-editable blocks mode (just not very apparent, I guess). The FR is to make the same thing possible when the Matrix fields is using the Cards view mode 🃏

(I probably should've phrased it to "make nested entries in Cards mode selectable" or something like that, as being able to actually select nested entry cards is the really the prerequisite feature)

Why is this closed? The previous update by @brandonkelly does not solve it. Is this added? Can we reopen?

We need the same feature really badly.

Esp. since only As Cards and In-line support that the versions of the 'cards' (entries) inside the matrix field can be coupled with the version of the page (section entry). This leaves Element Index view mode unusable in our use case, while in-line method causes a lot of performance issues on pages with many cards.
