How to apply this plugin into a running project?

What happened?

I read the documentation, but it is not clear to me that how can I apply magic-context into a running project where I have had many OpenCode sessions in the past month. How can I run the dreamer or the historian to go through the past sessions to extract all necessary knowledge or magic-context is useful only for greenfield projects?

Hi, a full remake of documentation is coming but will take a bit more time as there's lots of pressing issues that needs fixing right now. In the meantime for your questions:

You don't have to do anything specific after setting up the configuration for magic-context. I recommend using our desktop app to easily configure and also investigate the data.

Magic context works best with using a single session per project with subagent but this is not a necessity. After you start using you will see that there will be no visible compaction in that session and same session will continue naturally without interruptions. If you also setup dreamer, it will run at the defined time period automatically if you keep opencode open at that time.

Okay. I have created and fine-tuned a python script+small skill to run through past sessions and extract the knowledge. So far, it seems to work. Let's see how it performs from now on.
