Can't put breakpoint with Vitest and Cloudflare

What versions & operating system are you using?

Wrangler v4.54.0, Vitest v3.2.4, cloudflare/vitest-pool-workers v0.11.1

Describe the Bug

I tried to put a breakpoint on the vitest-pool-workers-examples/d1 project and I was unable to get the break point to hit with VSCode. I following the official vitest-integration/debugging instructions to setup my VS Code Debugging configuration and that did not work.

I also tried to delete all the other projects inside of vitest-pool-workers-examples so that I can be sure that it is just the d1 project that I am running and that still did not work.

Please provide any relevant error logs

Mh... I would avoid configuring the VSCode debuggers as documented in the docs and instead try to just run vitest in a debugger terminal (I think we need to update the docs).

Basically I would simply open a debug terminal in VSCode:

And then run npx vitest --inspect --no-file-parallelis in it, that should then hit the breakpoints normally.
