Forwarded message from ArcaneChat to "Saved messages" shows no image

• Operating System: Linux & Android

• Delta Chat Version: v2.48.0 (Linux/DC Desktop), v2.48.0 (Android/ArcaneChat)

• Expected behavior:
  If I forward a message from a chat to my "Saved messages" the image should be visible on the DC Desktop devices as well.

• Actual behavior:
  I forwarded a message with an image and text description from a 1:1 chat to my "Saved messages" using ArcaneChat. In the app everything looks fine and the picture is shown:

On both DC Desktop clients (I use multi-device) it is not shown:

Might not be releated but the picture above without text was sent directly to "Saved messages" and shows a different "info":

On all devices I can click on the arrow on the left of the message and get redirected to the original message. On DC Desktop this "original message" shows the image but the "redirected one" does not.

I played around with it a bit trying to reproduce the issue and found more issues.

Forwarding another message with text and image from a 1:1 chat with ArcaneChat to "Saved messages" two times leads to this:

The first message is the "referenced" one with the arrow on the left hand side and the "green badge". The second one just shows as a "Forwarded message" without this reference.

I'm not sure if this behaviour is expected. The behaviour is the same on DC Desktop and ArcaneChat.

This looks like a Core issue to me, related to pre-messages.

Also please tell me, do you use multiple relays (if you know what those are)?

Yes, I do (multi-relay and multi-device).

My setup is the same as described here:

I have three accounts (all with multi-device activated) on my computer. They all use the same chatmail relay (mine) and nine.testrun.org as fallback, so multi-relay is active as well.
