ERROR Could not open database. - V1.8

I tried installing version 1.8 on a new computer using both Brew and go and in both case I am getting

ERROR Could not open database.

Had the same error, so I did some digging.

In the code it assumes a conversations folder in your mods config folder (on osx in ~/Library/Application Support/mods.) I created this folder and it started working.

Interesting, I have that folder and a mods.yml. I deleted it and then ran mods --setup and the mods.yml came back but I still get the same error.

I'm having this error as well. I also see:

   ERROR  There was a problem writing 1be.... to the cache. Use  --no-cache  /  NO_CACHE  to disable it.

  Save: constraint failed: CHECK constraint failed: title <> '' (275)

I do have a ~/Library/Application\ Support/mods/conversations/ folder. This is with the Gemini API. If I use OpenAI it seems to work. Maybe there's an issue with Gemini-2.5-flash-light creating the title?
