The `ui-complex` example will sometimes crash with `Maximum call stack size exceeded`. I'm able to reproduce it in these scenarios: * run in a tmux split that is too small to fit the whole view * drag around the corner of the terminal window to resize it, repeatedly making it too small to fit the whole view `--optimize` does not seem to make a difference
