On windows 7 and Windows 8.1 FlipMouse needs a driver for the serial interface. On windows 10 the serial interface of the FLipMouse works without driver installation.
In the installation assistant of FlipMouse currently there is no driver installation. For Windows 7 and 8.1 there should be an additional step "install driver". Currently it looks like this:
This .exe should be included in the /tools folder like the the driver for irTrans:
serial_install.exe from latest release of https://github.com/asterics/FLipMouse/releases
