I'm a current graduate student in Data Science at UC San Diego - Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI), with 3+ years of prior experience as an Associate Data Scientist at Optum - UHG. My work has spanned both healthcare and enterprise applications - from building precise AI models for predicting appeal intent in claims processing, to developing solutions for employee access risk prediction and access recommendation in corporate environments. I’m passionate about applying machine learning to real-world problems, and enjoy building systems that bridge the gap between research and impactful applications in predictive modeling, data analysis, and intelligent systems.
