Only happens when I connect the tiny bundled wire from the 0/1 circuit and the 7 segment display.

Also, it seems to only happen when you connect it, then flip the lever.

Your circuits seem to be corrupted, did you pick-block them?
I remade your circuits, they seem to work now.
0/1-Circuit and 7-Segment Display (uses less resources now)

I did indeed pick block them, is that a problem? If so, will blueprints cause the same problem?

Blueprints are stable, pick block often causes problems...

Somewhere here is a issue about that

Oh, thank you. I am building by hand or using blueprints now and it works :)
