According to the description of this tool, it seems to work through Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects. Can it achieve static resource caching?

Yes in principle, but not in the current implementation.

Cloudflare Workers can support static asset caching at the edge, and Workers Assets / the Cache API can be used for that. Durable Objects themselves are mainly for coordination and connection/state management, not as the cache layer.

In hostc today, requests on tunneled subdomains are still proxied to the local service through the Durable Object, and we have not added edge caching for those responses yet. So the architecture can do it, but this repository does not currently enable static resource caching for tunnel traffic.

If this becomes a common use case, we can consider adding cache support for safe GET/HEAD responses with explicit cache rules and invalidation behavior.
