RFE : ability to set and search timezones by city, city airport code and by timezone acronym

It would be useful to have the ability to search and find timezones by city, airport code and timezone acronym, for both customization of the World Clock and when using Time tools > Timezones.

For example, Cali, Colombia is a major city in Colombia matching COT (UTC-5) timezone. The airport code is YUL.

Some timezone are hard to find out, for example Riga, Latvia doesn't have its own timezone but even when you know what it is (EET), it won't turn up a result. Searching for "Riga", "Latvia", "EET" or "RIX" would be useful.

At https://datetime.app/iana-timezones there is mention of having support for "45 Total Timezones, 10 Regions, 38 Countries, 20 UTC Offsets" based on the IANA Time Zones Database but the I believe the tz database has way more. Riga, Latvia is there by can't be found at datetime.app.

Thanks for the feedback! This would definitely make the timezone search more useful. It will likely require collecting more data (cities, acronyms, airport codes, etc.) on top of the IANA database. I’ll look into what’s the best way to support this.
