The main problem is that I don't use arch (btw), and I am not very familiar with package maintainance. I am of course open if anyone else wants to maintain the arch package. |

You can vote for sioyek to be adopted by a package maintainer: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_User_Repository#Voting_for_packages Personally I think this would be best when the next major release is done or maybe if |

Hello all! I am wondering if the developer has given any thoughts to submitting the viewer for inclusion in the official Arch packages, given the worrisome state of affairs of the AUR repository. Of course we can always build from source, but those of us on Arch and Arch-derived distros would prefer package management to be consolidated with the system manager.
Are there any roadblocks to doing that, for instance problems with the Arch people or simply a maintenance burden? I think sioyek needs to become more well-known given its great features for scientific reading, and inclusion into the arch repositories may give it more visibility!
