I really appreciate the new agent profile editor. I’ve actually developed a plugin to implement a similar feature a while back, but my current version is quite limited, it struggles to handle final additions and conditional logic, such as active projects, skills, mcp. I would love to see a more robust, official implementation from the development team. Additionally, I've found that manually refining prompts (for example, providing an agent with a read-only text editor) is a very effective way to significantly reduce token usage.
- A preview of the assembled prompt and tokens of the final assembled prompt is very helpful.
- Final prompt token count.
- Editing the individual prompts, 3 options: custom, off, on. (selecting custom allows you to modify the default prompt.)
These features would solidify the agent profile editor to make very scoped agents with precise roles.
