Summary
Similar to #76 , it would be beneficial to document what parts of the git remote helper protocol and the git-lfs custom transfer agent protocol are supported.
Things to note
Git
- In the project proposal we outline things we don't plan on supporting, potential support in the future, etc. Use that as a reference, in particular, we should include git remote helper capabilities that simply don't apply to our use case.
Git LFS
- Largely we support the entire protocol, but we should mention why we're a standalone transfer agent, why the concurrency setting must always be set to false, etc.
